Travel Over Public Roads

  Forklift Trucks which have to travel over public roads

must have a license plate issued by the local motor vehicle authority. 

Travel without license plate over public roads is punishable by local 

authorities.

To travel over public roads, Forklift Trucks must be equipped with 

brakes and rear lights. 

Travel in darkness also requires head lights.

The driver must have a valid drivers license to drive a forklift truck 

on public roads.
